As a cemetery worker with a focus on machinery in the Halmstad parish, you will be part of a large team of employees who help people daily. Here, you will work practically to keep the cemetery's green environments beautiful and accessible for visitors. Halmstad parish is responsible for the burial operations, which is the area where you will be placed. We are responsible for a total of five cemeteries throughout the parish, and we work from the Western Cemetery. We value education among our staff and have well-equipped facilities for the work. Additionally, we have a modern fleet of machines that facilitate the physical work.

PERSONAL QUALITIES:

We are looking for someone who feels at home in a machine hall. We see that you have documented training on wheel loaders, tractors, and excavators with technical training in repair and maintenance or experience that we consider equivalent. It is important that you thrive in social environments where you contribute to the team by being a team player who wants to help and support colleagues. As a person, you are stress-resistant and see flexibility as enjoyable and educational. You enjoy working independently with your own responsibility as well as collaborating with others. We also see that you are service-oriented and responsible, as we regularly assist grieving people at the cemetery. We work in a politically governed organization, which means we need to be loyal and accepting of decisions made.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

In the role of cemetery worker with a focus on machinery, you can expect exciting and varied tasks in a green environment. The work primarily focuses on handling our larger machines, as wheel loaders, tractors, and excavators play an important part in our daily lives. Additionally, maintenance and some repairs of the machines may occur as needed. Common tasks may include wheel loader operation with a broom or sorting bucket, tractor operation with loading and unloading using a crane and flatbed changer, or general construction tasks.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Driver's license B for manual transmission. The job requires movement between workplaces on public roads.
• Documented training in: wheel loaders, tractors, and excavators.
• Technical training in machine repair/maintenance or experience in the field that the employer considers equivalent.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Good physical condition – required to perform the job.
• Good knowledge of modern computer environments and smartphones.
• You contribute to a pleasant atmosphere through joy and laughter in our workplace.
• You have good references from similar work.

• Working hours: Weekdays 07–16.
